Cowboy Candy

Cowboy Candy is the newest one to the range.
I heard about this from some American friends as it’s been big over there for some time; mainly made as a homemade chutney so there are lots of recipe variations but it’s basically Jalapeños in a spiced syrup!
After some experimenting I settled on a recipe that is unique to me but still in the tradition of the US original.
Great as an accompaniment to any meal but particularly good on burgers, pizza, salads or straight from the jar.
Once you’ve finished the Jalapeños don’t discard the syrup, use it as a salad dressing, drizzle of your pizza or as an alternative to maple syrup on American pancakes with bacon 👌
